Nightdream

Once upon a time
Deep in a dream
Waves drew a kite across a child’s heart

Night calls a dream
Wishes dwell in the sky
Frozen melody still
Drown in the ocean of stars

Leaves whisper a song
Dreams through the eyes
Silent memory rests within a child’s heart

Wish turns loose a ship to sail unknown ocean
This night writes a child’s dream through the sky
Fields of wonders, meadows of life
Tales read little memories in a drop of silent devotion
Mermaids sang the story from your heart

In the horizon a sundown flows
Wanderer’s dream, sleepless journey across the heart
Quivering in the sea of all lost songs
A ride I slept from your eyes, dear tales tell where journey starts

Dear dreams despite dark gold
No shimmering cold, but love instead
Verses for a heart taking me home
Little hideaways awaiting still in the end
For innocence white longs forever the world
You used to describe in the tales holding on a child’s heart

In the horizon a sundown flows
Wanderer’s dream, sleepless journey across the heart
Quivering in the sea of all lost songs
A ride I slept from your eyes, dear tales tell where journey starts

Dwelling voices sing now my lullabies
The awe you dream through the neverending winter
Ever song I dreamed through your eyes
