The Boy Who Followed The Owl

Snow fell, the clock was ticking, path ran home
Tales kept silence for a moment to call the awe

Stars looked down at the forest and frozen lake
A story of a journey, last flight across a fairytale

Lost to the world, dreaming of home
Wandering into last days of endless road
Night awakens the memories dwelling within
The forever embrace of enchanted winter dream
A wish caressing still last call of awe
Breathing through the life of long forgotten song

A dream paints the road beyond your porch
Silent ride I sleep from your eyes travelling still
Across the sea, dark wistful core
While the journey turns into a tale I walk deep into your dreams

Snow fell, the clock was ticking, path led home
Endless journey of a barefoot boy who followed the owl
Old man’s tales caressed the heart of last winter awe

Stories turn loose the heart of a kindest man, a lonely soul
Forever whispering to me a tale of a wandering boy who followed  the owl
