Little Heart

A child on the hill painted a sundown through his mind
Little boy holding on the magic of wonder deep in his heart

Beauty of a scene still frozen within
A painted veil of secrets dwells beyond the sea
Wishes untold I drew in the night
Silent farewell on a kite
I sent through the sky to touch a dream

Pure tale above the river flow
Memories rest behind the porch
Innocence starts where horizon dies
Sleep, dear wanderer, read the dreams from my eyes

Hidden path
Undertow
Deep, deep, deeper down
Where you used to go
Little heart
Silent awe
Deep, deep, deeper down
Mind I always followed

Little boy caresses the tale of his own
Dear memory floats above the dawn
Nightingale’s song, dreams of old owl
A kite still flies for all the stars lost in sundown

Mermaids rest in the sea, sirens sing to recall a final fantasy
Little hideaways within, dear wanderer’s story
Innocence ends where new path begins
Horizon withers in a moonlit sight
I will sing you all your lost lullabies

Pure tale above the river flow
Memories rest behind the porch
Innocence starts where horizon dies
Sleep, restless wanderer, drink the dream from my eyes
