The Tale

My tale begins before the end of another story
Following a wish on broken wings into the dark
I search not to find, but for an endless journey

White hills endure the dark heart
Pale shore rests beneath the ocean haven

Seabed blue, eyes so pure
Innocence ends when heart dwells in lust
Desire writes dark beauty untouched
Through the lost oath of you

Meadows of life cascade on lake mirror
Reflecting in me an echo of you
Fallen for a lonely heart of winter awe

For all the lies untold
Let them bleed for a verse within
Believe in a dream you see
In this world unperfect and cold
Leave your tears behind
And lay to rest beneath a dear smile

My tale withered between the sundown and dawn
Belonging to somewhere else, my everlost home

A soul to the ocean
Heart to the lust
Darkness deceiving pale devotion
Before pure love turns to dust
