If You Never Need…

“…Oh let me flow, my dear angel, if you never need my soul
So why to suffer before the curtain falls
Why to wait for bare grace of last summer dawn
If you never need my soul, my dear love…”

My cure, my poison
Sundown walking upon a dawn
Lonely endeavour for a precious soul

Last sigh of horizon
Verses seducing my heart so deep
Still save my soul from endless weep

My window reflects in a mirror of dark lakes
Telling dear stories real, caressing old tales

Lure my heart, oh dear soul
Make my love now done
Before it’s gone
Before my prayers turn to woe
I implore, my pure swan
Nothing but save my soul

Pain like a crying child next door
My grief, my darkest woe
A wish of awe still longs for you
The only soul to be my ever comfort

My angel of pure ocean beauty
One and only heart to write a memory
That will caress it all —
The heart, the mind, the soul

A wish of awe I’ve sent to you, my far soul
Lying so close my ever comfort
