Before Piano Dies

Moonlit ocean above calls me to go
Dreams of shimmering white
Starlit curtain falls unveiling nocturnal choir

Shadows all drown in silver-dream snow
Heart plays the last chord to walk through the morn

Decembers, long-waited nights, endless dark so fleeting
Frozen seas far beyond, untold stories longing for a heart
Lost meadows of time, whisper through the dream ever needed
Eternal night desired by last golden day, eclipse for a wistful mind

Dark grace falling for fair play
Pale eyes unfold the stars within
Flowing across my name

Enduring the light I see horizon dying above the waters
Calm mirror of life
Healing and dreaming
Ever curse for the light, ever cure for the night
Found and lost forever in me
My ever loved fantasy

Played in the end, but lost from the start
Until the last wish of my heart
Before the dawn when the piano dies

Ever born in your lullabies
Ever lost for your eyes
Lonely heart still longing for all those nights

Years of longing drawn in me played the best memory
Lost, but forever loved
Borrowed lines for a heart so dear
Lonely wanderer within
My only comfort, eternal dream
Ever heart of me
