Golden Moon’s Grin

Dreams shelter my door
Calling for a lone dawn of awe
White meadows beneath a frozen scene

Midnight drowns in early shadow of dawn
Caressed by the whisper of leaves unfolding my core

Golden moon smiles to me
Walking through the fallen scenery
Lost tears of time
For an innocent rhyme
Veiling on tide
Of neverending ride
Through the starlit skies
Lying still beyond the kite

Three hours and quarter till dawn knocks my window
First lark for a heart is still sleeping under midnight’s brow
Hiding beneath a golden moon’s grin
All the innocence dwells within

Clouds hide the true face of lust
Moonlit paths caress the stardust
Beneath the bare feet of a lonely boy
Hidden deep in pure heart of my only joy
