Undone Dream

Northern winds embraced last day
Lost shores of warmth are parted away

Little hope caught by the tide
Ghost heart for a dreamer’s last ride

Engraved and lost
Unbound beneath white moonlit coast
Dreams shiver within
For ever love to come
Through the strife
Lost home for life
Unblessed memory
For an undressed fantasy

Lonely soul
Longing for home

Last August night will caress a dream through the first December dawn
Uncovered and alone on virgin white snow
With a child’s heart and wonder and awe

“North breathes with cold and hope —
lonely memory entwined with silver tears of golden autumn drawing a weird mixture of sadness and relief within.
Undone dream is complete.”
