I will sail far away
Once upon a time deep in a dream
I walked across the fields of the wind
Calling my name it whispered to me
Once there was a story of a heart
Longing for a stranger’s smile
Endured the light of every rhyme
Tides of unwithered time
Into the night

Across the meadow of dreams
Through all the valleys and seas
To cherish the moment of life long gone

With the end of the day
Painting the skies with heavenly blue
Verses untold lie unspoken awaiting you
Meadows of life washed by cold morning dew
I will fly away
To cease your pain
To shelter your heart from dark gates of the nightmare alive
River deep drawing still upon the clear blue sky
