The Berth

Beyond the darkened days
Of heartless bound I see the lanterns drown
In deep dark waters

I walk the berth
While seabed below draws my last dream
One only wish of heart on earth
I try to save unleashed

Unbound me now
See the light
It’s a heart of mine
Caressing dreams beyond the ground
Heal me now
With your spellbound

Let me see that wolves run free
Across the woods in eyes of ocean dream
My love turns loose the sea you draw within still

I swear I will find a way
To turn my sails away
Drifting with waves through a storm
To reach white shore, my long-lost home
