Unwritten Letter

Painted days beyond the back yard
Childhood memories through a heart
Leafbird flies free above a charmed eye

Undarkened youth, a purest soul
Severed heart in the darkness
Belongs still to the one nevercome dawn

Eyes written my life
Eyes of my love
Mirror of light, heart ever more
Tales untold will never let me go

Memory of her
Last petal of life
Child’s cry across dead silence
Dark dressed in cold
Revealed his hope
Cascaded down with her gone sigh

Eternal light of her sealike eyes graved deep in him
Engraved his sorrow within his heart veiled with darkness unseen

Years won’t take last thought of me
Lost childhood game in dreams
Always the one drawn within pure petal of lily
Last dying memory
