Never True Heart

Hills drawn in pale morn mist
Slowly dreaming away all the seas
I ever painted within a midnight sleep

My ship is sailing away
Into the night
Slipping away to ever lost hideaway
Leaving a tear in eye, a veil
Upon your sight

My ship sails away
In silence
I know
You won’t come
Never be there for me

Torn and forlorn as I lie in the groove
Watching the stars beneath the blue
Four hundred years I’ve been searching for truth
Lying still upon the dew, deep in heart of you

My ship sails away
In silence of time
Redeeming me back into memory’s sight
Dreaming and searing me
Through high midnight sky

You won’t come
You, too proud to show a kind of your heart
Writing the songs, crying at nights
Envying the stars glowing above like bright child’s eyes

Drawing me, no more but a dream
You won’t be there for me
Searching dark ways of a lie
To forget a pure loving heart
