A Ride Of Snowflake

I fall asleep entering the world I’ve never seen
Lullabies, sweet scene of withered kite
Upon a dream I dared to walk within

River flows still across the fields
Meadows untorn yet, stand still in bloom
Covered with petals of last winter’s snow

Unended story lives on poet’s lips
Tales old, without an end take me away
Back to the porch where I used to dream
In a hope and prayer kneeling beyond the dying day

Winterheart through a child’s smile
Ever dream of the ride
Back through years
Rains of tears
To catch one last breath
Butterfly on a dreamer’s palm
Midnight flight with last snowflake into the dark

I paint the dawn with snow and fallen leaves
Leaving a dream on a wanderer’s path beneath old oak
Golden lashes on silver-white blanket upon
Still unfrozen carpet of bright green grass

A shooting star, my silent guide
True friend beyond the darkest night
Whispering a wish through the wind and time

Winterheart through a child’s smile
Ever dream of the ride
Back through years
Rains of tears
To catch one last breath
Butterfly on a dreamer’s palm
Midnight flight with last snowflake into the dark
