I Pray, My Love, Remember Me…

From day to day it flows in me,
Cascading deep,
So sweet within lies dreamed agony.

Beyond the instant
Still frozen, untamed
I lie on the ground cold and white…

Your shadows in light reflecting still
In my eyes longing for your grace yet dreamed,
My suffocation — your laughter dwelling within,
My grief — your smile innocent and sweet.

A verse redeeming back into the sea —
All that remained of heart to be.
I pray, my love, remember me.

My agony is but a game for you,
My tears are but waterdrops for you.
A heart never seen a beauty of dream,
Choking in echoes of time
I’m but lost for a spark in the sky,
Far northern bound became my guiding star.

In love I dream, in hope I live…
With every breath I take I lose my faith,
For you to be, my angel dear,
Of you to dream at night despair.

Once in the silent thought
Recall my vision fleeting in time ghost,
Fading in the dark what left of me.
I pray, my love, remember me…
