For The Heart Of The Sea

Tales paint the meadows within,
Verses long for a place I once called home.
Dreamer’s heart is a way
To long-forgotten heavens.
For the child, for last sight
I turned loose the skies ever longing for a dream
Still bleeding within.

I forgive you never forgiving me
For the last night, one final sigh
I believe to foresee
A loner’s memory.
Times change, but not a child’s heart
Still dreaming of storytime and Peter Pan’s flight,
Meadows of lost lullabies, dream of a kite.

Now dreams are all gone
For the heart of the sea.
Tales untold, forever longed for
Ever lone soul, but a dearest friend
Revealing to me
Everything what I could ever be.

“Time won’t heal the wounds ever bleeding
I long for the dreams forever real,
All the love for the heart of you I caress deep within.”

All the memories I turned loose for you
A heart of truth
Remains within innocent blue
Sweetest dream of you
