A Lone Silent Night

Alone in the night I hear silence knocking at my window
With cold autumn wind, lost dreams of March
Until sundown kneels before the dawn
October will change November heart
Autumn love for deep winter sigh

Tales have a colour of a lullaby
Drawn above a silent night
Fading with a kite in blue starlit sky

Alone I dream of the night whispering a name to me
The dearest sign to my hoping heart, my secret shore
Sight of a memory, lonely night fantasy
All the soul of me lost deep in this dream
Painting the world within a snowflake, unveiling the core

All the world undone by a kiss of lost memories
Midnight drowns in waters deep for the last ride
Across meadows and fields, awe of untold tales
The heart of me caressed by the waves
Ocean dream, silent feel, all the stories bound within
For the poet’s heart dreaming of ever lost magic of life

Silent night dives into the sea
To write a child’s dream real
Light caresses the heart longing still for a dreamer’s sweet feel
