Forever Gone

Light a candle for a soul
Heart so forlorn
Lone dreamer lost his dear home

Pray for me once a century
All the heart bleeding still
Far beyond white winter eve
Writing a teary memory
Through blue midnight dream

One verse
Thousands words
One hundred tales to tell the one only story

I drank the poison, my cure wine
A hope of tides, a dream of mine
Painting lost tales all with white
Snow falls dreaming me back into shadows
Where I once came from

I found sunrise
Drowning deep in your eyes
Dawning sundown, white candlelight
Lone paths through the night
All the memory, seeker’s hope
My ever lost home
Lies still within your heart

The night, the song, all the words of hope
Became my ever lost home
Cherished by a memory, adored by the core
All of my dreams belonged to poet’s white shore
Before the hope seduced my heart
I will always love you forevermore
Until the last verse of a lonely soul is forever gone
