Winter Memories

Waves sing a lullaby to me
My cradle swayed by moon and starlit sea
Chasing the fears,
All untold tears
My silent nights of dreaming
Sleepless bound

The music flows through the soul
Caressed by the childhood dreams
With a kiss of awe and December awe
It flies through the night with last winter memories

I chose the lone boat to sail
Dark waters beneath
Oceans unknown,
Sea of nothingness
I sleep the ride from fairy’s eyes
Holding a song with care
Last snowflake flight

The piano plays the song of silence
Redeeming me back into ever lost years
Where eyes see through the heart
Caressing with love all the dreams of mine
Magic of north, winter awe, midnight lullaby

The music flows through the soul
Caressed by the childhood dreams
With a kiss of awe and December awe
It flies through the night with last winter memories

Silence ceased within a song played by a poet’s soul
Lonely tale composed deep in heart
Every dream is but a moment of love
Still dwelling beyond
The long forgotten world
Home for a soul I’ve ever loved
