Falling Twice

Forget all the tales
For the stone they’re torn
Revealing the face
Of a soul unborn

Remember but a shore of unpainted seas
Magic of winter and awe of forlorn childhood dreams

First snow will fall twice
To undo the scars
Bleeding still through the patch of memories

Falling into calling
Living for a hope
The memory sweeter than morning dew
Unscar me, unveil me, heal me till dawn
Let me be yours before the end comes

First snow will fall twice
To undo the scars
Bleeding still through the patch of memories

Paint the stars
Sleep wistful seas from my eyes
Undo all my scars
Sip the wine from my bleeding heart

First snow will fall twice
To undo the scars
Bleeding still through the patch of memories
