Lost Home Rests

Over the dales, far across the fields
Over the meadows and seas
My home is lost somewhere else

Beyond the woods, across the lakes
Over the hills and ocean waves
To touch forever lost days

The river flows through the sleepless eyes
Where restless memories come alive
Still longing for a home
Ever lived hope

Soul will never forget
Heart will never regret
All untold words
But written in a verse
Beneath the dream
Where sundown quivering still
In restless waves of the sea

Under the mountains high
Within a hope, a song of spring wind
Winter awe, magic snowflake charm
Plays still the lullaby, the tale, the dream
For a heart ever beating in me

Beyond the hills, far across the sea
We will dream
Roaming cold waters with neverwithered hope
To find the way once back home

Over the dales, far across the fields
Over the meadows and seas
My lost home now rests in you so deep
