A Lonely Wish

Live as if it was the last day
Of years long gone beyond the river
As the moment turned into forever

Forget the words I said then
It all was but a lie
Dark cruel play that wrote lost my Heaven

A tale was a perfect dream
Old winter carol flown through the field
Forgotten song revives a memory
Awe magic melody
The heart I try to heal

A lonely wish I hoped to feel
Redeeming me back into childhood
Where grass was still green
Kites flew across the scene of ocean blue

Dream is painted real over calm waters
Lake whispered it to me
Silent waves of white innocence

Through the silence surrounding me
I sail the restless sea
Singing a lullaby to the ocean deep
A soul so dear dreaming beyond
The meadows of heart, my long lost home

Wandering the world, diving deeper into the blue
In the end I will always feel for you
