Endeavour Of Life

In the sundown I see them coming upon the tides
With southern wind in last tear of the day they surf in the air
Frozen in ever endeavour to catch the moment of time

Falling I miss the shores
Cold once, but never alone
All those dales in one score
All those tales lost beyond the door
I wish I could turn back in time
To take all lost memories of mine

A daydream through the sky
Frozen tear in eye
Wind turned sails back one morn
To the place I used to call home

In the sundown I see them coming upon the tides
Searching for a hope deep in a desperate heart
Still frozen in ever endeavour to catch the moment of life

A silent dream, the one in heart
Lost moment of life left on the turned page
Unwritten chapter still dwells in time
All the years of hope now washed down the stream
All the tears fallen deep, beneath the dream

Your eyes, but the stars
Leading me astray across the tideline
Over the years of the heart
All the words never told
Promises never done
I sent a starfall wish through midnight sky

In the sundown I see them coming upon the tides
Frozen in ever endeavour to catch the moment of time

  1. I really enjoy reading your descriptions of things. You have a real talent for poetry, something that I don't, and I admire you for it. You post a lot too so your mind must be very powerful to come up with this so quickly.

  2. On the one hand I'm a person ruled by feelings and emotions, so maybe that's why it's easier to describe something. But on the other hand, it's really hard to find right words to tell what exactly I feel. And in the end it all just crosses my mind and I try to keep the feeling of all these things alive within every verse.
