All The Heart

You see the shadow

It stands behind
A veil of memories
Counting your time
It feels your fear, it feeds from it
Loves your despair haunting your dears
You feel it’s gone, but it’ll never go
Leaving you really alone
Dream till dawn
Sleep the oceans from my eyes again
So I can sail away
Rest with me before it’s all gone
Forget the pain, let it flow through the wounds
I’ve been a toy, just a puppet of yours
The marionette, the thrill, the taste of conscious
You drank from me
The taste so sweet
You’ve torn me apart, hurt deep
Leaving alone in the dark with all the memories
All heart desires were to be your bliss
You haunt it within still bearing a dream
The one I had once — to be loved one day
Chasing away the fear of being real, all the heart of me
You once left to bleed
