Wish Of A First Star

Watching down from the clouds
It whispers a dream through the meadows
Far lands beyond the forlorn world

Winds are blowing
Telling the stories still
Of mountains high
And unsailed seas
Singing a lullaby to the children in their sleep
A song of a fallen star

Snowflake falls beyond the leaves
Down on the land where forest still sleeps
Where river still flows through the woods of their realm
A dream of a king, a cave with treasures unseen

Starlight glows above, silver mirror of moon
Glittering waves of sparkling blue
Still longing for a midnight feast before the dawn

Winds are blowing
Through the forests and fields
Silent stories still living within
A heart of a dreamer still beats
With awe and belief

A wish of a heart
To walk in starlight
Before the dawn fades in the last star

Winds are blowing
Telling the stories still
Of mountains high
And unsailed seas
Singing a lullaby to the children in their sleep
A wish of a first star
