End The Chapter

Were there a word of truth
In any story about you?

Do you believe in what you see
Before your eyes?
What did it use to be?

A play you wrote once
Was too good to become a legend
Drowning deep in long lost times

Crucify a memory
I used to long for
Bury a fantasy
You still caress within
Burn a dream I paint at dawn
To feel what you’ve lost

Enjoy yourself and end this chapter
Before it turns into forever

Once I loved to walk under the stars
Surfing in silver starlight
I’ve sent a wish with a fire moon to recall
What was forever lost within a dream so old

A person, but a mirror I used to call friend
Great pretender, a gambler who lost his last game
Story teller of all times failed his best play one only time
When he decided that he won this part of mine
Where the truth was but another lie

“I will wait before the last bow sharing a dream beyond the old oak.
Still waiting for you come back into my life’s shadow caressing a hope
With all the lost awe of my neverfading love…”
