In One Moment

Draw another end
I’m drowning in this nightmare
This is not who I am

Silence kills
Without any reflection
It passes by tearing apart
All I loved so dear

Surfing the oceans of the past
I try to find that wrong path
Once followed by my fickle heart

Upon the horizon of dreams it turns to ashes
Burning still inside, burning me down
Bringing me down on my kneels for a feel
You have once unveiled so deep
Before turning my life into a nightmare

This love of a naive child
Pictures of long gone times
Forgotten scene before the mirror
Reflection of years ungone in your eyes

You still are the same
As that first time when
You stood before me
A man, but a child that I still see
Standing still right before me

A dream fading at dawn
One fleet of awe
But another snowflake on my lips
In one moment it melts
