Crimson Dawns

For whom all the hearts beat?
For whom the songs long?

Dreams veil the truth
From the eyes ever closed

Every path leads through the woods
Deeper into the dark

One truth to make them obey
The only heart they have to save

From the darkest dart of their fate

A heart of light caresses your thrill
Sinking deep in a dream you’ll see the real

Races die in each others blood
Pouring down with crimson rain
Through the core of the dale
Once dwelling in bloom and spring’s shine

Worlds of magic and might
Drawn in all their pride
All longing for the one
Treasure under the mountain
Ever lost gold
To what they all belong

Only hope lies in flames of burning town
Waterfalls of prayers cascading down
On a memory of once magnificent world

One common sorrow to make them call
One unknown tomorrow for them all
Crimson dawn to write their fall

Only drowning in bloodred sea
You will see and forgive
All the wounds of the past

One evil to make them believe
One enemy to make them forgive
The only heart to set them free

A song through the heart to awaken a feel
Sinking deep in a dream you’ll see the real

One truth to make them obey
The only heart they have to save

Beyond the oaths from silver grey past
Their shadows awaken dark ashes of lust
Burning their mirror of life to pouring dust
