Cold

Falling alone
I danced in a silver veil
Of moonlight and last spark of day

Walking along
The shores we used to draw
Far beyond lost horizon cove

Last petal falls before the dawn
To caress the dream above
My everlasting hope of neverfound home
Forgotten story of long-stolen love

Alone in the woods
I used to share this lifetime with starlight
And long lost dream

Old promises you forgot with a nevergiven oath
My ever lost Hallelujah you drew through the dawn

I saw the shadows lingering still in my room
Ever ghosts of me, my past, my heart, my love

Draw this painting with me
Through the night once whisper my name
Far beneath the snow-white cover
Silver virgin veil

You were the one whom I trusted my heart
The one to caress my love
You were the one last try to bring me to the light
The one to dream me through the sky
The one to write my dawn
The one to draw me into this cold
