Last Vow

“Close your eyes. What do you see?
Nothing.
Rub them… Can you see the stars?
Yes.”

Butterfly riff to be their last resort
Devil’s trap to die
Marooned on that island, lost lonely shore
They all supposed to be gone

Saved by their oath
Sworn enemy to kill
Pure heart to reveal
Unveiling the end of the storyline
Masked bandit lived for a child

There was five of them
In the epic story of love and revenge
Haunted by desire to rescue
All the untold truth

Tear the heart apart
Bear the cross of all the nightmares
To dream you’re mine

A story as beautiful as the world
Lost deep in a child’s eye
Legend so pure of a man with an innocent heart
Was just but a fuss about another lie

Missed part of a story lies deep in a sleep
Forgotten ashes of a heart once drawing a dream
Are you trying to save my soul?
Little angel girl…

Don’t kill the innocent man
Hero for her, all that you hate in you
Save the last sigh for an end
Play the trick on death
Survive, be alive

“I don’t want you to die.”

Last vow
My only solitude rests within
Beneath old scars unhealed
Far beyond the butterfly’s dance
Unseen through the mirror glass
Fading deep in a crimson sunrise
The fall

Before the dawn write the storyend
For a child, so dear friend
Make this a happy one
Before all the shed tears are gone
