The Fall

Shiny eyes desire the story
Fairytale telling the truth
About love and death

The Princess and the Bandit
I wish it was merry
The story untold missed its end

A dream of love and fear
Oceans washed away by a tear
Girl’s shiny eyes long for an adventure
All locked up in the picture

She’s running away
Looking forward to meet a storyteller’s tale
Just to hear the story again

Every day, every night
Watching behind
She is out to dance in silver light
Of the moon and stars unbound

Every night, every day
She is slipping away
To find her place in his tale
Taking her back to the dreamer’s land

Dear traveller wandering the world
Painted her imagined shores
With tales and dreams she wished all to know

Castles and deserts
Love and wish of revenge
Old promise still hurts
The last dream locked up in a cage
Years of pain for a one sweet day

Tell me the story, don’t fall asleep
I want to know your tale’s end
Don’t fall now, don’t drown deep
You promised to tell
What happened then?
You promised to tell

They all died one by one
Why should they fall?
The story has another end

Don’t die
Don’t kill him, he’s alive
It’s a lie
Don’t kill him, he must be alive
Don’t die!
