Time flows forever in one fleeting sigh
Caressing a life without a tide
All the meadows undone
Whisper in shadows of the night
Dark grace lies forgotten
Holding that solid gold locket
You know the verses so sad
Nothing is real and nothing left
In this emptiness before the endless land
Even eternity will once find its end
Rain of thoughts in the middle of snowfall
Where life dwells with silver starlight flow
Longing for a song of midnight bound
I’m a bird in a golden cage
Starlight won’t ever glow
Before you captivate my heart
I don’t want you to die
There’s nothing left for a lonely heart
Don’t kill him
Please, let him live
So deep within with the promise of the sea
For a child’s heart of me
