The Tale Is True

A heart of me
I dared to feel
A lone memory
All I ever used to be

Lost dream faded in time
No hope for our last goodbye
Forgive me for faith I’ve had inside

Forgive the tale that I wrote
Our farewell is gone
No more love, no more letters
No more teary pages
I have no pain to hate

A song I used to sing
Dwells now not for me
You are free
From the care I never meant to feel

You have my blessings to enter new life
Follow your path
Away from my head, too far from my heart

I have no strength for hatred
No more love to ignore
No more dreams to deceive
But the one I deeply adore

Forgive the tale
This is a farewell
Untold rhyme to us
World’s will you never denied
A tear in heart will remain
Caressed and washed dearly by endless pain

Another man kissed the lips you never touched
Another love desires all the vibes of the heart
Once belonging to you
A midnight fantasy, unplayed melody
The song of love you never knew
But deep within you feel that tale is true
