Where The Homeland Lies

The road is long to see the end of this journey
Days are fleeting away with a flow of forest river
Fading deep in the realm lost beyond the woodland veil

Horizon sleeps
Painting still the dreams
Of towers high
And mountains towering the sky
Where the homeland lies
An untouched tale of my lost paradise

I don’t know if there is anything worth awaits for us
Under the mountains high or above purity of the stars
If there is still something belonging to a very moment of life
Dreaming of truth that rests deep in our hearts

Horizon sleeps
Painting still the dreams
Of forest untouched
Lakes of pure starlight
Mirrors of real remained within
Turning me back to that woodland realm

I see the light
I feel the fire
Lingering in the shadows
I endure the desire
For a moment of truth forgotten deep inside

Horizon sleeps
Painting still the dreams
Of towers high
And mountains towering the sky
Before the fall where our journey ends
I feel the moment of time drowning in days
Where the sundown dies
Where my homeland lies
