Before Midnight

Take me once again to the start

Where it fell apart
The story we drew on the sand
Take me back once again
Where the morning dawned
Those paths we shared
Belonging to the woodland realm
We played the song of forest
Still longing for different dreams
Rain fell upon the tide
Starfall solitude covering dawn from inside
Snow embraced the ancient realm behind
Calling me to rest on the veil of silver moonlight
The story starts in pure starlight
Releasing the dream
It flows high
Through the moonlit sky
Resting in blue calm and still
I seek for a star-wish before the dawn
Hide the tears of innocent light
Purity of gems silver-white
Sparkling deep inside
Calling my name through the wind of northern dawns
Singing the lullabies of starlit sky
Where the heart of elven child belongs
We draw still the moonlit dream in the tide
Trying to find a petal of dawn before the midnight falls
