I Fall

Moonlight sings me a lullaby
As I fall asleep
Beyond the trees
Imagining still dear dream of mine —
The forest, the lake, the sky

Sundown plays on leaves
Sailing back to the shore unseen
Before spring sun rises upon the wood
I fall into sweet midnight blue

Surfing a dream I see
Deep mirrors of pure fantasy
The call of awe
Old songs of long lost gold

Moonlight sings me a lullaby
As I fall asleep
Beyond the trees
I fall slowly…

Call me, believe your eyes before me
Falling asleep I felt that world was real
A dream untold coiling around the heart my realm

I close my eyes and see
The lands I thought were never real
Imagined world became my kingdom

Among the white petals
Of starlit night
I fly higher than stars
Beyond the dreams
Beneath the real
I fall asleep

Before the dawn
Into the awe
I feel the wind singing the song
And so I fall
