Far Over the Mountains, Far Over The Woods

I see the river streaming beyond
Lingering in the darkness and cold
Covering with silver veil of shadow
Leading us back home

Into the mist of the woods
The path runs and gets lost
Followed by fear and mesmerizing touch
Of ancient charm so dark and cold

Far over the mountains
I flow
To all the old promises
I belong
Once given to my kin
Betraying once would be never forgiven

Where is the truth?
Why is it lost long ago?
Who was right and wrong?
The fight drawn in shadows of years

When is it gone?
Ended before the beginning
Fading in the midnight sky veiling the scars
Over the heart full of light of all stars

Far across the woods
I long
For every silent whisper of flute
I behold
Every dream of the wind, all the songs dwelling still
Living in every teardrop of dew

“I am the star upon the woodland realm
I am the shelter, the midnight dream
All the tales I once heard became true
Once being told under the new moon

I am a starlit bound, a whisper of wind
I am the song, your lullaby kind and still
Caressing your memory
Cherishing every feel of your heart…”

Whispered he into my ear
He, the king, so cold, so far
But so close, so dear
The one whoever could shelter me more
Than I ever could know

Far over the mountains and woods
I follow
The ever call of the pale silver of ever youth
The dream so unreal
The fantasy realm
That I still belong to
Untold world of eternal dream
