Mountains And Dales

Far beyond the river of murk forest
A lone dreamer flows
Running to catch the wind
Playing still in first leaves of spring

Far over the ever blue high
A lone traveller longs
Dreaming of meadows beneath the hill
Of mountains and dales, woods and streams

She sings a song of the Lonely Mountain
Painting the mist around the far way

She dances in moonlight so pale
Cascading on the woods with a silver veil

I remember the lands
Sparkling in pure starlight
I remember the tales
Falling down with first spring rain

Innocence of the night is forever my guide
Leading me lost and blind
Astray to the far gates of Woodland Realm
Greening beneath a silver petal of my first ever dream

I sing a song of a journey
Across the mountains and dales
I dance in the shadows of the moon
Beyond the dawn fading bloom
I long for a lullaby sung at sunset
Reaching the heart of never told tales

I sing a song of the Lonely Mountain
Painting the mist around the far way
I dance in moonlight so pale
Cascading on the woods with a silver veil

Cherishing the moment of life, a promising tale
I follow the light sparkling beyond Eryn Lasgalen

I sing a song of a journey
Across the mountains and dales…
