Memory Across January

I flow longing still
For the shores once lost within
A memory that burns so deep

Silver petals covered me with a veil
Of white moonlit grace
Dwelling still upon the heart of midnight

I search for a path in starlit night
To guide me astray
Far away
Through the darkness to touch the light
Of heavenly pure memory

Across the stranger lands
Where I’ve lost my home once
I live for searching still
For the heart of the mountain
Longing still in immortal eternity

I lost my freedom there
Longing once for one’s else feelings
Who drew my heart above the shadows

Pale blossoms dwell in moonlight
Upon the desire of king’s eternal might
I find myself in flames burning
Of life and love drowning in hoping

Dreaming of walking in pure starlit memory
Beyond the fire glowing in your eyes
I see my fate you wrote in January
Once and forever I belong
To a dream painted silently upon
My heart beating for dear spring sunrise

Silver petals covered me with a veil
Of white moonlit grace
Dwelling still upon the heart of midnight

And the river flows still
While silver starlight dwelling within
Paints the heart beneath
With blooming moonlight of a dream
