Under The Moon, Under The Sunshine

Under the moon
I walk awake
Dreaming of sunlight
Beyond the dreamless blue
It dwells and spreads

Under sunshine
I sleep tight
Wondering if the stars are above to take me high

I draw the leaves beyond the river deep
Sailing thick waters of mirror sea
Reflection pale floating within and painting still
The day’s last beam in moonlit shadows sleeping within

Sometimes I walk in starlight
When sundown breaks beneath falling twilight
Searching for a path that will lead me to the bound
Where lies still hidden moment of life

Untouched in ever ages of thrill
Quivering deep
A heart of light forsaken in me

Under sunshine
I sleep tight
Wondering if the stars are above to take me high
