Long Road

Far above the sky so blue
Within a tale of autumn gloom
I walk into a dream of midnight dew

Wondering still upon the dawn
Searching for hopes dwelling in sweet autumn

I walk along the streams of starlight
Drunken with luring songs of spring bloom
Beyond the midnight I see the dreamlessness of sky blue

Deep in the lost lands I see the sunrise
Far beyond the horizon
Somewhere beneath the dawn my heart lies
Belonging still to the path that goes on

Sleep in the tavern
Awakening in the fields
Long way through the meadows and hills
Far away across the sea
To the palace, my dear home

Stars guide me
Leading astray to the path
The one that takes me to the dream
The one that brings me to the porch
Of mysterious kingdom
In the middle of the forest dark and deep

Sundown fades beyond the horizon
Drowning still in sweet waves of twilight
My road runs over the lake to the mountains cold
Dwelling with memories, pure starlight
