The Locked Door

She waited for so long in the dark
Bearing a hope for a dream
Never meant to become real

She was hoping where was no hope
She was believing where faith was dead
Far beyond the world’s last shelter
She dreamed of one truth untold

He faded one night without a word
Withered in the dark of midnight
No farewell she heard

Long months covered her with leaves and snow
Darkness coiled around her heart
Bleeding for an innocence she lived for

Never come back
If once you’ve dared to go
Leaving me you’ve closed the door
So stay where you are

I need no lies of yours anymore
No promises to come back one day
You took your last sled into the void
So rest there until another love is failed

They will hear your lies
Flowing deep in the eyes
Of that great hunger of lust
That turned your heart to dust
I need you nomore
There left no love, but cold
