Under The Stars

Under the stars I lie
Dreams embrace me still
Cascading on me silently

In moonlight I dance
Hopes reflect in silver dew
Singing the song of ancient woods

Locked in the circle of starlight
I burn with fire untamed
Beyond the voices of deep delight
Seducing me
Calling still
Through the memory blackened
From that nightmare I’m now awakened

Dancing on moonlit shores
I recall the nightingale’s song
Dwelling in the midnight undawned

In silence of spring morn
I dream of the woodland realm
Mountains and streams
Over the mist of fallen dawn

Moon light dwells upon the trees
Silvering still in fresh wet leaves
As the clouds faded beyond the horizon

Locked in the circle I dream
Of silent expiation untold
Still lost within a forlorn memory

Under the stars we lie
Seducing the dawn with midnight forest lullabby

Locked in the circle of starlight
I burn in flames ice-cold
Beyond the voices of deep delight
Luring me
Sheltering still
Under the lights of midnight score
From all the memories I forgot

As I dream far beyond the tides unseen
His magic slips through all the bounds revealed so deep

Silently I fall asleep on the shoulder
Of a dreamer hidden within that heart
And I tremble in his arms as we lie under the stars
