I run away from time cascading on me
Taking into my head and withering deep
Pouring with dark rain onto my heart
The night fell down in your eyes
Tying me tighter to the lonely darkness
Deprived of love, deprived of hope
You gave me more that I could take
Hatred and pain
Blame and shame
Coiling still around my soul with circles dark
How could I be so blind
To see the truth that was so obvious to find?
You were so real, but so far
Drinking the fears from my wounded heart
As petals fall upon the hand
I hold on the tale
Of lies and truth
The last was never about you
A liar you are and will always be
Nothing can change the lustful soul
A man with no honour and purity within
You played your role great and now you go
They will forever haunt you
In both the dark and light
Leaving no sanctuary to hide
Your lies were sweet, but the heart was black
I’m tired now of all you and your words
You gave me more than I could take
Leaving the scars so deep that will never heal
As the petals flow with waters deep I sing the song
Of moonlight and starlit bound
The world I used to come when I feel lost
A forest of eternal life and ever spring bloom…
