Nightingale’s Song

Wind whispers in leaves
A nightingale sings a lullaby
Beyond the forest dream

I enter the realm, a far wood lands
Searching for nothing
Drifting in time, but for the journey
Hoping for lost dreams

Flute weeps in the trees
A nightingale still sings
Far beyond the woodland realm

And dreams cascade on me with petals silver blue
Like the eyes of spring in bloom

I fall asleep with this song dwelling in me
And with a dear kiss on my lips
Caught in bound of eyes of starlit night
Sapphire dream sparkles within with moonlight

Wind whispers in leaves
Singing me a song of the king
A nightingale shares this lullaby with me
