Guiding me still
There is no way out
I flee through the night
Out of captivity
From all the darkness and lust
Leaving behind all the sanity
In me, with me
Lashes of the past are hitting hard
Cutting deep into the heart
None’s there to hold me
Alone lying still on the cold earth
Dreaming of dragon fire will burn it all
Taking away the suffering
The war is won, but my own fight is lost
I fade now in the vanity of time
As there left nothing to live for
Into the white, into the blue
I drown deep to touch the miraculous far
Longing still for sweet scent of spring all in bloom
Swaying on the waves of time
I recall the dream of the future unseen
Still sleeping in the arms
Of the one who called me through the last fullmoon scene
The man without a face, without a name
The one I’ve never met or seen
Still the one who will ever love the heart of me
