Among The Thorns

White snow covered the porch
Beyond the memory of last December
Spring bloom awakened me with one touch
From that blackest slumber

Among the thorns and vultures
I walk searching for the better world

Dark night falls upon me
As I walk among the trees
Still dwelling in midnight whispering

As their whispers comfort me
Reviving me after that eternal dream
I awaken from all the lies I’ve seen

Among the thorns of real and oaths deceitful
I walk as it’s snowing still
Across the waters that keep on flowing
High so far above the end of the world so beautiful

Among the thorns and vultures
I walk searching for the better world
As this is burnt and reborn

This world fell
Your world is burnt
You thought I’m a pure dream
A virtue saving you from yourself
But you hoped in vain
Silence would be your ever hell
The end

Among the thorns and vultures I walk
The one of the highest dark sins
I fly among the veils of storm
Weaving the webs of good and evil

I am your worst dream
I am your best nightmare
The white bride drinking your fears
The dark guest sipping your desires
I sing your life through the verses of time
Kissing the wounds, healing the scars
I long for the light seduced by the darkness

Among the waves of the tide and golden autumn woods
I walk to reach the fate hidden beneath the labyrinth ever lost
Deep in the heart of the mountain I’m searching for truth
