In Sleep

I hear the voice in the night
From the dark it’s calling me

I see the eyes in pale moonlight
Looking at me from a dream

In the waves
In dreamy silence
I see the face
So real beyond the stars

I walk into the fantasy
Covering me with comfort so divine

Desire within grows
Blinding my mind

I fall into the arms of midnight dream…

In the meadows
In the woods
Beyond the golden sundown
I sleep in dear arms

The flute sings a dream silently
Reminding me of the world unseen
In the eyes of moonlit woodland realm

I fall into the arms covering me from all evil
Sheltering from my own agony of stolen dreams

In the dales
In the mountains
I see the eyes following me
A shadow covering me in sleep
From all the harm and pain
So I fall asleep to see him again
