You Saw My Tears

You saw my tears

In moonlight sorrow
You felt my fears
In face of ghost tomorrow
I knew no light before you came
I had no love to feel again
No trust it gave me, no memory or pain
I felt just rotting hope calling my name
You saw my tears in moonlight
Reflection still poisoned my mind
You felt my fears tearing me down
Snow white hell clawing my heart
You heard my crying in the night
While healing all deep scars
You see me now
Sleeping with a smile
Embracing your dreams with one heartbeat
You healed the wounds left deepest scars
They bleed no more through weeping heart
You saw my tears
In silver grief
Of moonlight dreams
You dried them still
Though it wasn’t even your burden to bear
For love, for me
Let this dream live
For love, for you
My soul will flow
Through a moonlit dew
To glow in you
You let me breathe the morn so deep
You showed me dales so far and fields so near
You made me feel free and live
The moment of life holding it dear
Away from pain lasting through the all past year
For love for me
You will set me free
For love of you
I will let it all go
To the deepest blue
I will long only for you
Before the dawn falls down again
I know you will once call my name
So my heart dwells still in your embrace
