Veil Of A Dream

I searched for light in the darkness
Of that soul
Forlorn and lost
I knew it’s hidden in still

I searched for life in deep desolation
Where lies the sound of silence
You’ve never heard it in your life, I know

Silver leaves cover the meadow
Golden grass dwelling in moonlight
Nightingales sing through the wind
And storm howls
And roses bloom
And river flows still
Far beyond
Dreaming me behind
The veil of your dream

Into the rain I fall still searching for
The sun, the moon, the stars
Into the dark I fade still dreaming of
The night, the light, the eyes
Still shining bright above the sky

Silver leaves, golden grass, snow-white paths
Meadows of dreams, dales of wonders
All that I saw once I found again deep in me
While searching for life hidden still deep in a dream real

The meadows are green
And the river flows still
Deep in a memory unseen
Of far lands awakened from my daydream
Somewhere in your real

Silver leaves cover the meadow
Golden grass dwelling in moonlight
Nightingales sing through the wind
And storm howls
And roses bloom
And river flows still
Far beyond

Silver stars of shiny eyes
Dark grace in dawning light
A moment of time’s worth of eternity in this sight
