Away From The Dark

Falling down from the ice walls I see
The dawn turning into sundown

Calling for dreams I’ve turned loose deep
Where the memories drown
Becoming a sip of frozen air I breathe in

I don’t care before I turn into ashes
Everything I used to love so dear

Tell me the tale
Of forests dark and mountains high
Sing me a song
Of meadows green and dales white
Dream me into the night
Take me away

Dwelling in leaves with a thrill of midnight wind
I fall asleep at once in whispers my name

Down by the lake where you walk I feel
The scent of white lilies
As I fall asleep I turn into a dream

Waters flow deep quivering with the storm
Drop by drop it falls upon my skin
Awakening me from the real
Washing down all the pain from my soul

Tell me the tale
Of forests dark and mountains high
Sing me a song
Of meadows green and dales white
Dream me into the night
Take me away

Away from this darkest agony
Away from the harsh waters of midnight darkness
Where I can feel free
Where I will take what I am and where I will confess
I can tell from your smile you’ve been here still
Silently waiting for me
So I am here, dear
